My writing has been a "hobby" of mine for ages, and I'm often starting novels that get little, if any, actual work done on them. As you can see from the many started below, I'm bad about finishing what I started when it comes to writing. Most of the titles here are still "working titles", as are some of the character names. In putting these works online, it constituted the first reworking that most have gotten since the mid-90s.
The first two are my most recent ones, and are the only ones really being actively worked on. In participating in the 2006 National Novel Writing Month, I managed to get a lot of writing done on The Guardian, which is the one I most want to get finished and maybe attempt to get published. Love Slave is a very recent idea, while all the rest have not been touched since 2002 or 2003.
- The Guardian - Romantic Fantasy - 24,805 words/4.5 chapters (of 21) - WIP
Actual writing started during 2006 NaNoWriMo - Rashka isn't human, but she is the devoted Guardian of Marianna, future queen of Northern Fantasia. Shitaka is the Guardian of Yuki, future King of Southern Fantasia. Marianna and Yuki have loved each other all their lives, and their wedding will unite the lands of Fantasia. Shitaka and Rashka are also in love, and while they can never be together as husband and wife, their love is as deep and pure as any. When Yuki vanishes and evil attacks Fantasia, their lives become changed in ways no one would imagine.
- Love Slave - romantic something? - vague idea, will likely be a short story or novella
- The world has gone backwards, and slavery is rampant again, with the poor being enslaved by the rich. She is sold as a slave to Him to serve as his assistant and take care of "secretary" type stuff. She isn't much to look at by most standards, but He finds himself being more and more consumed by a desire for her. She also finds herself responding to her masters growing desire, but can love actually grow between a slave and a master?
The Bradshaws
- Deadly Dreams - R.S. - 1 chapter
- When Jack Bradshaw tries to ease his niece's heartache with a new dog, he runs into a woman who he just can't resist the urge to play white knight to. She is haunted by past monsters, including a very real one that threatens to put Jack's dream girl in a permanent nightmare.
- Regaining Faith - R.S. - Prologue
- Faith Leighson escaped from an abusive marriage, spending years on the run to protect the one who saved her life when things hit the bottom. Now she must return home to handle her mother's death, but doing so means facing Julian Bradshaw who is still determined to know the truth of that night and now has a badge to back up his questions.
- Mending Hearts - R.S. - 8,200 words
- When a vicious dog appears a small town, the citizens turn to sheriff Richard Bayliss to destroy the animal. Standing in his way is Julianna Bradshaw, who has taken the dog under her protection and is equally determined to prove that the dog isn't bad, and his own daughter who loves the troubled animal. In the background lurks the former owner who wants his dog back.
- Full Circle - R.S. - Storyline and Characters
- The story of the youngest Bradshaw, Jessie, who has loved family friend Bayliss since she was a child. Best friends for years, Bayliss always saw her as a little sister, except for the summer of her Senior prom. Now he must learn to deal with his ruined career while facing some secrets his best friends and family have kept for a long time. And pulling all the strings is an old enemy who wants to finish what he started so long ago.

- An accident causes a rift between two lovers. Years later, Kat Aria runs home to Cascade Falls when a stalker begins tormenting her. Can Nick Dawson get past his anger to keep her safe, and reclaim the love they lost?
- Secrets Revealed - R.S. - Character Sketches
- Delatex Buchanan has to figure out how to deal with the news that his father is illiterate. Trying to get help at the local adult education facility, he meets Silky Aria, and feels an unshakeable pull. He doesn't realize that she has an old nemesis watching her with deadly intentions.
- Secrets Discovered - R.S. - General Idea
- Roxy Aria has a nose for news and a penchant for getting herself in trouble. Dillon Schiebel turned his back on the world, determined to live the "quiet" life after too long as an NYPD Homicide detective. He'd been successful at it for years, till a walk in the woods ended with him carrying a blooded, half-dead woman back to his private domain to save her life. He gets drawn into the deadly game gone awry and to a woman as spirited as a wild horse, whose thirst for adventure has her life in the balance.
